The detail behind the story

Making digital banking feel simple.

AAIB Mobile app tutorial video series. A coordinated series of 10 tutorial videos for AAIB Mobile, produced end to end: series planning, scripts, voice-over, editing, motion graphics, music and final production.

Effective tutorial content is more than a screen recording with a voice-over. It requires a carefully structured learning experience, supported by clear instructions, purposeful editing, and consistent visual communication.

The creative concept: making every tap make sense

Digital banking puts powerful financial services in the customer’s hands. But customers still need to understand how to navigate the application and complete specific tasks. A useful tutorial must do more than show where to tap. It must guide the viewer through the process in the right order, make important actions easy to recognize, and remove unnecessary confusion.

The creative challenge was to develop a consistent tutorial system that could explain multiple mobile-app workflows while maintaining a professional banking aesthetic. The solution was a coordinated 10-video series, with each tutorial structured around a specific task and delivered through a combination of scripted guidance, voice-over, editing, and motion graphics.

The business challenge

Mobile banking applications offer customers a range of services through digital interfaces. However, a feature is only useful when customers can understand how to access and use it. When instructions are unclear, users may struggle to identify the right screen, understand the sequence of actions, or recognize whether they have completed a step. Tutorial videos can help bridge this gap by showing the process rather than simply describing it.

For a banking brand, this requires particular care. The content must be professional, clear, consistent, and easy to follow. Every visual, spoken instruction, and screen transition should support the customer’s understanding. The challenge was to create a series that made individual app workflows easier to follow while maintaining a cohesive production style across all 10 videos.

The Snaptiks approach

  1. 01 Structure the learning experience

Before production, each tutorial needs a clear purpose and a logical sequence. Snaptiks handled the series planning and video sequencing, organizing the tutorials around the tasks they were intended to explain. The goal was to give each video a defined instructional journey, from introducing the task through to guiding the viewer through the relevant steps.

  2. 02 Turn the workflow into a script

Each tutorial required a structured script that aligned the spoken explanation with the actions shown on screen. The script provides the foundation for the entire production: what the viewer needs to understand, what they should see, and when each instruction should appear. This alignment is essential to keeping the tutorial easy to follow.

  3. 03 Guide the viewer through voice-over

Voice-over adds context to the visual demonstration. Rather than leaving customers to interpret every interface element independently, the narration guides them through the process in a clear, consistent sequence. The voice-over must work in harmony with the visual timing, allowing the viewer to understand each step before moving to the next.

  4. 04 Make the interface tell the story

Editing and motion graphics help direct attention to the relevant interface elements. Screen transitions, visual emphasis, pacing, and motion can clarify where to look and what action matters at each stage. The purpose of animation is not decoration. It is to make the instructions easier to understand.

  5. 05 Build a consistent audiovisual experience

Music, voice-over, editing, and motion graphics must work together without competing for the viewer’s attention. The overall production style should feel polished and professional while keeping the instructional content as the primary focus.

  6. 06 Deliver the complete series

The final output was a series of 10 tutorial videos produced through an end-to-end workflow managed by Snaptiks. The value of the engagement lies in the coordinated production process: planning, scripting, narration, editing, motion design, music, and final delivery working together as one system.

The production system

  1. Strategy & sequencingDefine the series structure and the purpose of each tutorial.
  2. ScriptingTranslate each app workflow into a clear instructional narrative.
  3. Voice-overPrepare the spoken guidance that accompanies the on-screen demonstration.
  4. EditingBuild the pacing and sequence of actions to make each process easy to follow.
  5. Motion graphicsUse visual emphasis, transitions, and animation to support comprehension.
  6. Music & audioIntegrate the soundtrack and narration into a coherent audiovisual experience.
  7. Final productionBring every component together into a consistent series of 10 videos.

Each stage feeds into the next: planning shapes the script, the script shapes the voice-over, and the voice-over, editing, motion and music come together in final production.

The creative point of view: clarity is part of the experience

The best instructional video doesn’t compete with the product it explains. It makes the next step obvious. It gives the viewer enough time to understand the action. It removes unnecessary distractions. It uses movement to direct attention rather than overwhelm it.

For a digital banking tutorial, every production decision should serve that objective. A well-structured script, well-timed voice-over, precise editing, and purposeful motion graphics combine to make the experience feel more intuitive. That is the creative thinking behind this project.
